CHAIR OF UNKNOWING

Made from Red Grandis, this bench is durable. The name is a reference to the fact that Oxford University has many chairs of knowing but none of unknowing! How good it would be to spend many hours in the garden, being gently relieved of the need to know anything. This piece was commissioned for Fresh Air, a sculpture exhibition in the Cotswolds, where it was a big hit.
